  1. SCOPE AND PURPOSE

This APP is to be used by health workers to provide healthcare services to the population, by enabling them to enter clinical information about the patients in their EMR and measure & upload various diagnostic parameters for the patient before and/or during an online consultation with a doctor.

The doctors also can use the same APP to provide consultation to patients who are otherwise deprived of quality healthcare either due to distance or cost.

This privacy policy describes the practices followed by e-Zest with regard to information about you that we obtain, either directly or indirectly through third-party affiliates, through this APP. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of, or the data available on, the websites of third parties, and we urge you to evaluate the soundness of these practices for yourself.

  1. SECURITY

We are committed to ensure the security of your personal information. This APP has adequate security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information on the APP. We use SSL Technology to create secure connection to upload information to our servers on the cloud and all the data is backed up periodically. We have also complied with the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000.

While we have taken utmost care to ensure your data security and integrity, the field of data sciences is forever evolving. Keeping that in mind, we cannot be held responsible for any compromise of data. However, you will be notified of any data breaches.

  1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Following information is collected while using the APP

  • Demographic information about the patients including their name, age, gender, address and phone number
  • Clinical information of the patient before and/or during consultation with a Doctor
  • Images related to patient from camera and Internal/External storage
  • Diagnostic Parameter readings which are patient's health data
  • Permission to access their IMEI no. of mobile
  • Permission to access Bluetooth, USB and audio ports of the mobile phone/tablet
  • Permission for audio recording.

The data that we collect can be typically classified into “Personal information” and “Anonymous”.

Personal information is information which can be traced back to a particular user. This can include your name, e-mail addresses, phone number or your health records. We collect personal information when you register or use our services. Personal Information also includes your health records.

Anonymous information is information which cannot be traced back to any particular user. This is collected using cookies, the app, and other means. This information is typically used to enable delivery of various services and also to improve your experience while using our products and services. We may also use third party advertisers to show you relevant advertisements, you can view their privacy policies at their respective websites. We cannot be held responsible for what the third-party advertisers do with your data.

3.1      When you sign up:

The APP’s registration form requires users to provide us contact information, such as a name, mobile number and e-mail address. By subscribing to the Company's products and services, you have agreed to receive e mail notifications that are necessary for the Company to communicate important information to you. These e mails are notifications only.

 On your acceptance, the Company also may use this information to send periodic newsletters and/or promotional material from third party partners or sponsors. You may opt-out of receiving future mailings by changing your account settings. Contact information may also be used by the Company to contact you, when necessary.

3.2      When you visit and use the APP:

When you use the APP, the Company may collect and store, the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet; the unique Internet protocol (IP) address of the computer you are using; the browser software you use and your operating system; the date and time you access our sites; and the Internet address of the site from which you linked directly to our sites. The Company will use IP addresses to identify any visitors who refuse to comply with the Company's rules or terms of use.

We may collect your IP address and other data about the equipment used to visit the APP, the patterns of searching and browsing that preceded access to APP, and the patterns of searching and browsing on APP.

3.3      When you consult a Doctor using the APP:

Clinical information as well as measurements from various diagnostic devices shall be captured during the consultation

  1. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?

We use information collected through tracking technologies, such as cookies and beacons, to improve the functionality of the APP. The Company may collect this information to conduct system administration and site analysis. This is done using analytical, statistical tools/software or performed in collaboration with third parties. We may also share non-identifiable, aggregated data with our partners and other third parties. It is also used by us to track the total of number of visitors to the APP in aggregate form and identify the type of Internet web browser (e.g. Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox) and operating system (e.g. Windows, Android) used by the visitor. This information allows us continuously to improve our APP.

If you choose to provide us with personally identifiable information, we will use that information for our internal business purposes only.

Clinical information collected during the consultation is used by the Doctor to arrive at a final/provisional diagnosis and decide on the course of treatment for the patient

  1. RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA:

You have the following rights over your data:

  • Request an electronic copy of your profile: You can ask your provider to send you an electronic copy of the data that we have on you. We will provide you a summary of the information we have, within 30 days of receiving the request through your provider. You may be charged a reasonable fee for the same.
  • Ask us to correct information: If you think that your data is incorrect or incomplete, you may send us a request through your provider to correct the information. We will comply with all reasonable requests and will notify you in case we do decide to say “no”.
  1. MINORS

The APP site is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18 unless parental consent is provided. The APP is a facility and only contains information about children to the extent you, the user, provides that information. It is your responsibility to protect your passwords and account information to prevent such use.

We reserve the right to make periodic updates and revisions to the Policy. We also reserve the right to change this policy at any time and without any notice. Any changes will be posted on this page.
